Letters to Brother Ysgarren & Initiate Sebastian

Written in the hands of Bryce and Shaylla:

Greetings,

I have angered the forces of Chaos.

After slaying a demon of Nurgle, my dreams and days have been filled with portents.

Leopold Monastery is in danger.

I have contacted Brother Wilhelm in Nuln. He will offer sanctuary for the initiates and futher their training.

I trust in you to convince the others to seek this safety.

Your comrade,

Tharsig

Letter to the Brother Whilhelm of Nuln

Brother Whilhelm,

In my quest here in the north, I have encountered wonders and terrors such as those told in tales of old.

Monsters and demons have met my hammer and learned to fear Sigmar.

But I fear these efforts are not enough. Brother Leopold’s monastery is isolated. As tales of my adventures spread and I generate new foes, I worry that he and his initiates will be unprepared for some evil retribution.

I know that he will look kindly upon any aid and shelter you can give his charges. I have written him with the same request.

Please send wagons to the monastery and remove those who I have inadvertantly put in danger. Of course, such travel is dangerous and I need not stress the caution and strength you should bring with you on the whole route.

Thank you for this boon to me. You may not have heard, but my travels have been generating some wealth. Already, I have endowed a temple in Talabheim and would be honored to contribute my next windfall to your worthy site.

I await tales of a warm welcome from my initiate brothers. Send word to me in Middenheim.

Tharsig

Letter to Grete 2

Sister Grete,

Greetings from Talabheim.

By now, you will have heard of my adventures. It’s true that I’ve fought a demon minion of Nurgle blow for blow. I still bear the scars. If not for the stout hearts of my comrades and my own strength from Sigmar, the plague would have destroyed this town.

As a reward, I have been granted permission to build a temple to our patron here. Talabheim is an Ulric-favored town, so my venture has met a large resistance.

I have secured a fragile peace with the head of Ulric’s order.

I have also donated my substantial wages from adventuring to cover construction costs.

These deeds are greater to me than a hundred battles with demons.

Can you and Brother Daniels help pick a permanent priest to service the people of this town? They would have to be strong of heart, arm and deed to lead this flock. They will also need forbearance to handle the Wolf’s followers and priests.

Visions from the gods themselves lead me north from here. Middenheim will be the site of the Empire’s next great test. If your path permits, gather those you trust with your life and journey there to join with me.

There we may find Sigmar and save the empire.

Sigmar provides!

Tharsig.

Please forward the following note to Brother Whilhelm in Nuln

Letter to Leopold 4

This letter is sealed with the signet of Evans de Averheim:

Father Leopold

I have received your letter and rewarded the messengers appropriately.

Await me in Averheim.

I will journey there following my quest here in the North.

A war is brewing here and those on the wrong side will fall.

I will fight in this war to honor two men – one who founded an empire & one who fell teaching me to defend it.

Send your initiates to Nuln. I will have them sheltered and cared for; in return, I will come for you.

Tharsig
